Hohhot Shengle International Airport, designed with the imagery of "Wings of the Green City, Hada of the Northwest," gracefully stands on the Tumochuan Plain. It is the first 4F-level hub airport in my country's northward opening-up bridgehead. The terminal building covers an area of 260,000 square meters, with its roof steel structure precisely lifted in sections at a capacity of 1,720 tons. The maximum elevation is 43 meters, and the maximum span is 130 meters, presenting a majestic "saddle" shape.
The core area of the terminal building and the ceiling and wall systems of the concourses fully utilize our company's metal honeycomb panels and aluminum alloy single panels—precision-formed panels with smooth linear textures condense the majestic outline of a "saddle" and the elegant imagery of a "khata" (ceremonial scarf) into every turn. 130,000 square meters of silver-gray metal decoration shines like an intricately carved saddle, while a 600-meter-long, undulating eaves extends seamlessly into the overnight accommodations for passengers. Our products, with their superior flatness, weather resistance, and design freedom, perfectly present the auspicious imagery of a winding, flowing "khata."
Stepping into the departure hall, 22 membrane structure skylights rise from the saddle-shaped roof, resembling scattered yurts on the grassland, bringing the sunlight and shadows of the Chulechuan River into the waiting area. Our company's metal enclosure system and interior ceiling, with their precise texture and smooth lines, subtly blend ethnic tradition and modern craftsmanship within the graceful curves of the eaves and ridges, allowing travelers to experience the vastness and warmth of the grassland amidst the interplay of light and shadow.
From the dream of a nomadic people traversing the world to the mission of the "Air Silk Road" connecting all directions, Hohhot Shengle International Airport does not rely on massive construction to impress, but rather on its reverence for grassland culture, its compassion for the frigid borderlands, and its commitment to opening up to the north, writing a new chapter in the possibilities of a frontier hub. Our company's metal building materials, with their stable quality and precise presentation, help this "Wing of the Green City" become the first warm and welcoming silver hada (traditional Mongolian scarf) offered to travelers arriving in Inner Mongolia.
